Micmac | Malecite

The Maritimes area was well placed in a setting with seals, fish, game, and foul. Facing the Atlantic offered benefits but also a hard environment in the winter time. The Micmac were the dominant culture of this area. They and the Beothuk would be  the first to make contact with Europeans.
