The literature of Canada may be the philosophical musings of a citizen, a description of what life was like on a day to day basis, a religious sermon to save the soul or an artistic impression of something truly Canadian. These documents represent a limited cross section of the arts and literature of the country but in almost all cases an instructive insight in the character or the country.
