Although generally thought of as a peaceful country, Canada was embroiled in war and conflict almost from birth with rebellions in the Northwest and then internationally as a part of the British Empire in Africa and Europe and finally as a peacekeeper within the framework of UN resolutions and actions. These documents mainly pertain to World War II events but are critical to Canadian values, morals and our role in world organizations, relations and structures.
